Is that why electric bills have skyrocketed?

I’ll second Marsh Brother’s and the Karibbean, and add Lalo’s tacos.
White River Junction, VT is a quick drive from Leb and has some good options. I like Big Fatty’s BBQ (great beer list), Trail Break (tacos and also great beer list), and Tuckerbox (Mediterranean/kabobs).

If I’m anywhere within a certain radius I make an excuse to go. Their great white shark chai with espresso cube, my god it was life changing. And I’m a typical Dunkin’s drinker

Jerome confirmed last week in an interview at the Economic Club of Washington DC that there will be no trillion dollar coin. So it's up to Congress to decide what to do with spending and debt.

Excellent, making a measurable dent in carbon emitting generation.

Agree, but this Tram is from 1980, not the 30’s.

>Thank you .I agree with some of the reply but if you are saying people buy milk every day is addictive then I disagree. In many homes there are families of four or five members and milk does not last long when that many are using it. Also milk is essential for proven good health not destructive cannabis which is not fully approved for good health as of yet according to the federal government and that is proof enough for me. I believe they know more about this drug than you and I. And milk drinkers are not going out killing and stealing to buy Marijuana and do not say that is not true. But thanks for the reply as everyone is entitled to their opinion. P.S. Judging from all the pro marijuana posters in this blog some who say 1/4 oz is not enough for one person I can only say that proves addiction even though that word embarrasses some marijuana abusers. AREN'T THEY SAYING THEY CANNOT GET ENOUGH MARIJUANA ? Also their are other federal reasons why it is banned and why it is said to be addictive. Regards.

When someone asks for proof of an assertion of fact, then rejects the evidence provided without any attempt to offer contrary evidence, they are not arguing in good faith, they are instead being unreasonable

The cog is a polluting mess in a fragile ecosystem. Don’t put it in the same breath as the Tram.

Boston Common Coffee based out of Pelham/Windham. Deliver or ship. Best roasted coffee I’ve had. We do their monthly coffee club and they have lots of single source and blends available.

I am Cannon for life, but there is zero way it is more popular than Loon. Loon is NH’s most popular ski resort by a mile.

I have to disagree with this as someone who is very familiar with some of the company. Those I have dealt with are shady people to say the least and in my experience, they put out an inferior product and count on being “local” to make sales.

I hear you. It's an option I'm considering at least in part. I've been with Vanguard for decades and loved them, but since Bogle died, it's not the same.

In general, I would advise anyone to work as late as they possibly can, especially if you have a a reasonable career/job and are able. I see so many retirees having to get low wage jobs to make ends meet and they could easily have worked to 70+

Reply to Is driving on 89 in the winter really that bad? by IAcadianI
There are often arrests in Hopkinton and Accidents in Sutton. The out of state traffic has been especially heavy the past couple of years but getting worse for the past 15 years or so. Fridays and Sundays are especially brutal. This is worth noting because many are unfamiliar with the road and driving distracted on their way to/from leisure activities.
I’ve seen 89 shut down a few times different places but usually around New London give it take a couple towns in either direction.
For winter driving, the most important thing is actual winter tires, good driving skills, and having an emergency kit in your car. “Take it slow” is awful advice as oftentimes, slow drivers become a hazard to those who are properly equipped. AWD/4WD gets a lot of people in trouble but has its place. Good tires are the single most important piece of equipment in any season. Traction is what matters for driving, turning, and stopping.
The roads are not going to always be clear. DOT is stretched thin and can’t be everywhere at once. I see a lot of people who will drive between lanes or in the passing lane. Don’t do this. If it’s too deep or slippery between the lanes, stick to the right lane.
Yesterday I saw accidents due to the weather and the roads were not even bad. People are poorly equipped and bad drivers. There are going to be days you should stay home, I don’t know if your work will allow for that though.
I have tons of cold weather survival training, driving training and experience, and am extremely well versed on the subject of winter driving so feel free to reach out with specific questions. Be safe!
