Understanding there are dems that don’t support legislation, there is no upside for any republican to vote for this with the direction of much of their base and their most popular politicians going in a polar opposite direction. Their support for any legislation will be used against them in primaries to elect candidates who see no distinction between pot/fentanyl/legal immigration/and crime. They don’t care about how much revenue it can generate or the difference between pot and hard drugs. Casual correlation is enough

Write a letter to the Director of the Division of Motor Vehicles and request it with the reason why you want one. A relative of mine did this within the last 5 years and was granted one.

Very much this. I moved back to CT years ago but lived in NH for north of a decade. It always surprises people down here when I say NH is a lot more tolerant than people realize, it's just that they're quiet about it. The one defining characteristic of a born and bred NH person is that they mind their own damn business and expect you to do the same. If you bring noise into their communities, you will get spoken to.

Of course there's pockets. It breaks my heart visiting friends up in NH and seeing the Trump signs on the road, but I know those are pretty isolated from what a lot of people up there feel.

If you are willing to travel a longer distance, Sugarloaf will give you the big mountain experience at a lift price more reasonable than SundayRiver. We went last Monday during vacation week and was surprisingly not that busy. The longest lift wait may have been about 10 or so minutes and most of the day had no wait. I think not everyone wants to travel that far.

I lost all respect for a coworker because she endlessly droned on and on about how, “It’s the WHITE house! Stained by a black family and their n*ggilet kids!” Shortly after he got elected

She didn’t care about policies, or the recession, just the fact that the president was black.

Needless to say the hotel we were at didn’t think it was a good look that their waitress was openly racist and let her go not long after.

Neither of these are legit. Why were passports anywhere except under lock and key. Second, again, no private citizen has the authority to destroy a passport. “Oh look at all these passports, they must be fake” is ludicrous and criminal because again, property of the government that issued. So no mistake here

Give me one legitimate reason for a hotel to shred any passport. Passports are the property of the government that issued it. If lost or found (which, is hard to do inside a hotel) they are to be sent back to be destroyed. So give me your one good reason any passport should ever be mistakenly destroyed, let alone 40

Besides the article I already shared with you, here is another quote regarding a state-run model - “If we’re ever going to do it, that’s probably the right structure to have.”

From here: https://www.seacoastonline.com/story/news/local/2022/04/02/new-hampshire-bill-recreational-marijuana-sales-state-liquor-stores/7244063001/

Edit: You don’t have to like it, but it is true. I don’t know why there are multiple recent accounts saying that these quotes don’t exist, but I figure it has to do with his potential 2024 run?
