The pandemic definitely hurt them a bit but it was still probably my favorite restaurant in the state. Things weren't always perfect but they were generally excellent, which is saying a lot for a relatively inexpensive restaurant!
I personally preferred Republic before they merged them.

Depends on the viewpoint:
Moderating the worst inclinations of the legislature - good.
Not getting wrapped up in vacuous "war on woke" nonsense - reassuring.
Not really having any specific aspirations or aims to improve the state - disappointing.
Switching his stance on things to appease different groups - bad.

I'm not sure how a snarky comment does that. Or do you think there not being a federal government would somehow do that. As if states don't have laws covering the same thing? How often does that sort of thing even go to a federal court?

Depending on how much you like people, sure. Freeport is a worthwhile winter hang, as is Portland.

This is reddit, what kind of answers do you think you’re going to get? Look at the election results.

The Democrats in nh, DO NOT WANT, legislation. If they did, Maggie Hassan would have approved it

Definitely and always looking for train tips — thank you so much! We were hoping for a Maine-train this winter but it didn't line up. Sounds like summer's the time!

I like him. I'm a Democrat and I voted for him for governor last election.
That being said, if it was Biden vs Sununu in 2024 (which is extremely unlikely), I wouldn't vote for him.

this. he's vetoed weed bills in the past, I see no reason to believe he wouldn't if it got through both the state house and senate. it's crazy, the amount of money we are losing as a state to MA and ME along the border.

Not sure if you live in the same area but there was a giant RV in the pine street chestnut area, they parked it outside our place one night too but it was gone by the morning. I thought it was really weird that such a big RV was being moved around such a small area.

If you are looking for additional train insight for future trips, take the Amtrak to the Northern Terminus in Brunswick Maine, get a coffee at Dog Bar Jim, and then take the train they are running North up the coast this summer to some of Maine’s premier waterfront destinations, with bikes. 👍🏽
