I was thinking about infections in regard to cosmetology. Nail fungi etc, I wouldn’t trust an unlicensed worker for practically anything. Isn’t the purpose of a professional license the fact that it’s a sign of professionalism and a guard against malpractice? A business screws up and their license to practice is in jeopardy.

An unlicensed cosmetologist uses unsterile materials and repeated customers get eye infections. What recourse do the customers have? Does the cosmetologist stay in business? There’s no license to lose.

I’m so curious about this, did you wake up one day to find a strange camper in your driveway, or did you tell someone they could put it there and then they just never came back

No judgment on you either way, I’m just laughing but not in a ha ha way about waking up to find some random camper in my driveway. Wtf

The police are such failures, what do you mean there’s nothing they can do, if I chucked a bag of chips out the window and they saw me they could tag me for littering but I could leave a whole entire vehicle in some random person’s driveway and they won’t do anything about it? This is good to know.

When it comes to YMCA, there aren't any directly near me - the closest is about 20 minutes away. But they apparently do a teen night on Fridays. Is that something I should consider?

My sister had a job at Market Basket when she was my age, and she enjoyed it, but I don't think it's the right fit for me. I already know most of the kids who work there, and they scare me, honestly.

But apparently, Rep Ross Berry (R) Manchester wants to change all that. He is on a special committee on Child Care (and also runs a child care business- conflict of interest much?) and would (if I read his quote correctly) want these deregulations to impact child care.

I understand that. I took a semester in meteorology in undergrad and it definitely is dealing with complex systems. I still have the textbook but it's most certainly out of date. It was a bit of an eye-opener back then (in the 1970s) as to the number of things that influence the weather.

But still, prepare for the worst and hope for the best. This has worked for me for 4 decades.
