If the town salts/sands your roads then they have a stock pile somewhere and often times there’s a pile for residents to shovel into their pickup trucks. I think they do this for residents and it’s not free when you’re paying $X,000 in property taxes every year to live in the town.

If you're actually getting the 1000 down then maybe just compare cost. They told me my plan was 1000 down I'd rarely get more than 200-300 hardwired into the xfinity gateway. They had no explanation, just told me I could save 10 per month changing my cell plan.

It's very seasonal and depends on the weather. There are good years and bad years. Most of the concern should be for your pets and kids.

I walk my dog every day, and at the worst times I probably average one per day on me. They take hours before they can draw blood, so you have plenty of time to pick them off.

These are 90% dog ticks that don't carry Lyme. My dog got the monthly treatment, and it's very effective. But I still find the occasional tick on her. She had the lyme vaccine, but still tested positive for Lyme twice. She never had any symptoms.

I missed one deer tick a few years ago, and the next day it was engorged with blood. I called my doctor and got an antibiotic prescription over the phone. No issues.

I avoid walking through bushes and tall grass. If my lawn (weeds) gets too long, I'll find one occasionally. Some people spray, and it's very effective. I never felt the need.

Every time my contract is up, I call and tell them I'm going to cancel because it's too expensive, and I get a better deal. The worse possible scenario is you do actually drop it, go to Fidium for a short while, and then go back as a "new" customer.

Same goes for SiriusXM, they want to charge me $21/m but I'm actually paying like 9 because I threatened to cancel.

Yeah, getting raked over the coals is never fun. Was thrilled when then announced fiber to my place. And I do not consider cellular a real option even if I had good signal near my house.

I just wish Consolidated Communications partnered with YTTV or Fubo instead of DirectTV (bleh) for streaming. Would be cool to bundle them, or at least get some sort of discount.

If the EZ-pass transponder is registered to a Maine-based account, no discount. NH transponders get a 30% discount (and you CAN get a NH transponder as an out of state person for the discount, you just have to buy it).

If you talk to them and tell them the frequency that you will be passing the tolls, they usually do, but they would keep track of that frequency and as long g as you meet the criteria you should get a discount.

Used to work for Comcast customer retention back in the day. Miserable job, don't reccommend it lol. Anyway they don't have the ability to just give you whatever deal you want - the deals available are pre-chosen by the customer service system based on your history with Comcast - but there should be at least something in their toolbelt that they can use to sweeten the deal for you.

Call in, tell them you'd like to cancel, be adamant about it, and when you get to customer retention, give them the same spiel and let them know it's too expensive for you and you'd rather go without. They'll inevitably throw some offers your way to try and keep you.

Sounds like perfectly good directions to me. Be glad they're not referencing things that aren't there any more.

Go down past where the Sears used to be, turn left after the house where the Johnsons used to live, if you see the spot where the rusty old trailer was, you've gone too far.
