While I liked this, isn’t that futuristic though. It’s not capturing a current time. It’s capturing a apathetic future.

Yeah, that was such a great, gut wrenching performance and all around sad but well done movie. I might need to rewatch it this weekend.

Hard time believing this. Disney/Pixar will always cut the cast when doing direct releases. Adding Kelsey Grammer at that time wasn’t cheap either.

I can’t decide which delivery of his breaks me more: “Please!” or “I can’t beat it.”

I’m a huge Killing Them Softly fan as well. It’s not as good I’ll admit, but still one of my favorites

Although I thought the movie was overall pretty boring, I will praise it for how realistic it was. The acting, characters, and plot were all so well done in a way that it didn’t feel like it was going over the top for the sake of entertainment.

And Gone Baby Gone. Although nothing seemingly outside his chops, but he's certainly an underrated actor.

"How about Manchester By The Sea, everybody? Casey Affleck plays a morose, withdrawn man from the outskirts of Boston, living under the shadow of his older brother. What a reach!" Nick Kroll, 2017 Film Independent Spirit Awards
