When Eli Roth turns Hitler into chili at the end of Inglourious Basterds. A lot of excellent Nazi-killing in that movie, but what could top masscring Hitler like he's Sonny Corleone?

I'm really excited for this movie. Kylo Ren vs Dinosaurs. Sounds good to me. I'm glad that it is fun

Not into romcoms at all but Love Actually is an absolutely fantastic film. Every single bit of acting is excellent and it’s the only acceptable time to dislike Alan Rickman.

Yes one a romantic comedy

Commando is a wild movie. Completely over the top, but with heart. Killing 850 grown men to save a little girl? we can all have fun with this one! plus badass one liners galore.

I think this ranking is right, but sometimes I just want to watch Commando.

The final scene in Come and See (1985) - The partisans realise that they'd just be as evil as the Nazi squad if they set them on fire, so they gun them down instead.
The asssasination of Reinhard Heydrich in Atentát/The Assasination (1964) and Anthropoid (2016) - That POS arguably deserved what came to him (he eventually died of infection).

thank you very much! I will never associate myself with Buzzfeed in any way... but I graciously accept your kind comment! honestly I feel kind of cheesy doing back to back arnie topics but it seemed appropriate and on my mind. I've even had a little blowback on one of my list choices, but opinions run high with stuff people have passion on so it's ok.

Check out Django unchained then. I'm into zero westerns, but this is a top 10 movie for me, wish I saw it in theaters. Hilarious and amazing.

Ooo if you liked The Good, The Bad & The Ugly, you should check out Yojimbo. Essentially it's a Japanese film from early 1960s that was a big source of inspiration for the westerns like that one of Fistful of Dollars.

Those things you mentioned are not directly comparable to the movie industry.
2 rings? Would that equate to? 2 Oscars? Some great actors don’t have any.
A flashy, popular actor is Tom Cruise. But is he a good actor? One of my faves is Ethan Hawke, who is less celebrated than Tom, but I believe he has buckets more talent.
(Watch BLACK PHONE - the man acts thru a mask, it’s wild!)
I guess people love Merryl Streep and she has quite a few awards, but she hasn’t really touched me personally, so there’s that. The fact that acting is about connecting with the audience and people are all so different we’ll have different reactions to different performances.
Unlike sport, which is quite technical with specific rules so it easy to see who’s better.

Reply to What do you think of "Knock at the Cabin" when compared to the source material, the book titled "Cabin at the End of the World"? by scalemouse
Specifically compared to the book? The movie fails in every capacity as an adaptation. The book is a lot clearer that a god that would require brutal human sacrifice to avert an apocalypse is an evil god. One that shouldn't be obeyed. The entity that is glimpsed in the light has a malevolent aura. And in the end it's about two people choosing to live on after their world has ended, suffering unfathomable loss. To go on regardless of what happens because all you can do, is go on.
The movie is 'Yay, human sacrifice! 😁'. Okay, well maybe not quite, but it never deals with the moral complications the plot raises.
I think the film is well acted, it's shot beautifully. Shyamalan directs the hell out of it, but it's lack of thematic coherence in the writing is a fatal flaw.

I think you’re talking about Chad Stahelski who was a stunt double for Keeanu Reeves in the Matrix and then went on to direct John Wick.

my cousin too hates Meric as a bad knockoff of the former sidekick. The title may be the most debatable one on the list. If I replaced it... it would be between red heat or last action hero most likely.
