To be fair, I had the same worry you do, but I watched it anyway and it's very difficult to tell it's dubbed if you don't understand Telugu or Hindi. The parts in English are left alone too.

Yea can be hard to avoid, then I would recommend never letting a trailer dissuade you from watching a movie. Trailers only care about appealing to the widest demographic possible, even if the movie actually doesn't.

This was one of the first movies to really capture my imagination as a child.

5 speeches is a lot and and giving 5 acting awards for lead and supporting waters down the value of the award. I'd be into adding more acting categories, maybe separating drama and comedy like the golden globes do, but just awarding the top 5 seems dumb.

Cocaine Bear in theater... Missing at home

It sounds like you'd love the show Hannibal. Fantastic deep dive into the world of Dr. Lector - with Mads Mikkelsen in the titular role. Starts a little slow, but has a very good series arc (only three seasons and gets better each season.)

I think Cocaine Bear would make for a more fun crowd experience.

I can’t remember the details but in Parasite there’s a moment when they’re in the car and character says “crossing the line” and just at that point the camera literally jumps the line and breaks the 180 degree rule
