But Kubrick doesn't have a genre he specialized in, he was a master of them all.

Evil Dead II was essentially an Ash led superhero horror film, and even more so with Army of Darkness

His movies are largely good. And the ones that are bad are usually bad in an interesting way.
Good director.

Jenna is a brilliant actress. Also beauty personified.

Neither of them. Nothing short of a Marvel or a huge disaster movie will get me in a theater ever again. Id rather stream my movies.

I just think some folks need to calm down about spoilers, man.

I'm not a huge Cruise fan, so it was never really on my radar. I finally watched it on Netflix one night and loved it. I've seen it 3 or 4 times since, and it's still on my watchlist.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I have to really want to be scared in order to watch it.

I think you're the one person in the world who wants longer acceptance speeches. They're largely just lists of names.

"The most acclaimed movie awards in the world are focusing less on movies from a single country. Could this be bad for diversity?"
No. The answer is that it is not bad for diversity.

Honestly advertising for every single movie is pretty terrible, I feel its pretty rare when we get those amazing teaser trailers. I stopped watching trailers all together and makes for much better experience.

I loved how Liotta made a joke about it playing himself in an episode of Just Shoot Me
EDIT: clarification

The ads for the original Point Break were laughable back in the day. My group of friends had no intention of seeing it. Eventually rented it one night on a whim, and we ended up watching it twice back to back.

Yes! That’s exactly how I felt. It kind of just blended into a few other movies at the time and nothing in the trailers made me think “I need to see this.”
Definitely worth the watch though!

Seen them both, imo Cocaine Bear was a more fun time at the movies
And if you've seen Searching, then Missing wasn't anything new

I don’t really go searching for trailers, but with how they are attached to other media I consume, I usually inevitably see some.
