Probably more of that kind where Jason Statham glares at people and jizzes bullets everywhere. Male power fantasies, basically. Also the kind where women drink in groups and make dirty jokes.

on a side note, I’d love for him to make another Trek movie. I rather enjoyed Beyond, and Sofia Boutella was a wonderful addition to the cast. Should they ever make a sequel, I’d love for her to return

ive only made it half way and seems decent. its a bit slow but that arthouse for you. I'm a musician so i was actually really interested in what is going on because i have no window in that world of classical music. I think Cate's performance so far is very convincing.

My advice: show someone who hasn’t seen Memento the movie. That way you can experience the twist through someone else

That’s the best short description of Hardcore Henry I’ve ever heard.
That movie was so good! The director’s next movie Nobody with Bob Odenkirk was a big hit but I was disappointed because it wasn’t as batshit awesome as Hardcore Henry was.

Thanks for your response and insight... I just figured I would see what others thought about a movie that I had just seen (esp since it was the 3rd largest over the weekend) in this sub and was surprised (now seeing that maybe I shouldn't have been) that I really couldn't find anything even though it grossed over 15m over the weekend and 3rd overall... Seemed odd to me...

This is an actual effect used in some dance performance videos, especially kpop! Yes, they slow down the music and perform at the slower tempo before syncing it up in post. But it usually gives a sort of stop motion effect in the process that I didn’t notice when watching the performance in RRR. I honestly do not think they slowed down the performance in any way on set. I’m wondering if they show it at a higher frame rate to give it a motion blur effect?
