This has been adapted many times but I think the best version is the 1974 version “And then there were none” (it does have a different title that was of the time and not appropriate anymore) this is a classic Agatha Christie story so if you like Glass Onion and Murder / Death on the Orient Nile Express then it should be right up your street. It had a dark multi part tv adaptation recently too if you want a modern interpretation.

For the actual Original Song nominees they tend to perform as written. We Don’t Talk About Bruno wasn’t nominated, it was just an exhibition ratings ploy and they tried to do some kind of remix that really sucked. I don’t think the RRR songwriters would allow them to do that with Naatu Naatu, nor would the producers want to since it’s an actual nominee.

I think that kinda of adversarial attitude, the one where you can say what you want and everyone else needs to shut up and take it, is toxic. It's what social media algorithms promote, argument = engagement, but it's always why people log off and don't come back.

You can be that person if you want, but at some point you're all that will be left.

those are very valid points now that I think about it. Like I said, I get why it was cut for reasons beyond runtime. But I do like how it wasn’t another beat-em’-up interrogation or a Gotham City face off. And I did have to watch it with subtitles since it was hard to understand him at parts

I don’t mind it. It was honest about how hard it is and I think it actually captures pockets of the trauma foster kids carry. It was clearly supposed to be a feel good movie and at the end I was happy for they got to be a family.
