Damn, I thought for sure 2001 was nominated, but it was not! I would put that in my Top5 snubbed. Good call on that.
EDIT: I put 2001 in my Top 5 XD

You would think Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan being attached to this would be enough they are quickly becoming the top rising actors in the industry.
I don’t know how to feel about The Weeknd his talent level in terms of acting is undetermined right now he does have a HBO show with Sam Levinson that’s supposed to release this year though.

I fear they don't have the room to make a Bollywood performance work.

You're not alone. That cast was so stacked.

Why? Creed was the champ, rich, grew up in a mansion versus a guy who had nothing and grew up in a struggle and also sought his mother (and father's) love. Drago certainly wasn't a villain in that film despite the intentions.

Yeah, slip of the tongue. Well, the audience is supposed to root for the protagonist and that was not easily done in Creed 2.

On the other hand though, The Weeknd’s attachment to this film may be one of the reasons why it’s even able to get made. I’m sure that Shults, whose last few films basically came and went, will enjoy the exposure that’ll come with having a film starring The Weeknd under his belt, as it’ll probably allow him to keep making his smaller films.

Not sure if Abel has any acting chops but as a fan of Trey Edward Schults, Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan I’ll be watching this.
I think Waves is overall one of the best movies A24 has released.
Now I just need David Robert Mitchell to announce his next movie and I’ll be happy.

Best is Wikus, think Vernon is hilarious, but Kruger is my favorite, especially after he goes a little nuts after having his face blown off.

Reply to At what point is a spoiler no longer required to be kept under wraps? by microwavedhottakes
When the thing is popular enough to be a pop culture moment. If the vast majority of people have seen something I feel like they shouldn't have to continually tip toe around open discussions just in case some random straggler just happens to pass by. We shouldn't have to tip toe around the possibility that some random person hasn't seen a 5, 10, 30 year old movie.
I also think context is important. Is it a new movie and your on a discussion board dedicated to talking about the film? I don't think spoiler warnings should apply. If you haven't seen a movie that's actively new and you intentionally go into a discussion about said movie then whatever you read is on you.
Is it a new movie but your on a board that doesn't have anything to do with the movie then take the time to add a warning.

Honestly, except for D9, where he was more subtle none really. He tends to overact and is very similar in his parts.
