the one that shocks me that I never noticed is during the tour of Overlook, they look at the walk-in freezer, and the exterior changes completely as well as how the door hinges

It's weird how much Zoolander applies to work when in management. I also drop "The files are IN the computer?"

I think Memento and Pulp Fuction ran into the same problem. New directors doing something diffrent. The oscar committee are a bunch of "seasoned" vets that really dislike people messing with thier cheese.
Inception was another great year... I wouldnt be upset if it won, not mad at the winner that year and even True Grit deserves a nod. Glad social network did not win.

Wow, I saw this for the first time last week and it's really good. Hope this gets a digital release because I'm very curious about what's missing.

Though now defunct, you may enjoy the back catalog of the podcast, "Friendly Fire," in which the hosts watched hundreds of war movies and discussed them seriously (but definitely not too seriously).

Jovan Adepo is always one the highlights of every film I’ve seen him in (‘Overlord’, ‘Fences’, & ‘Babylon’). I’ll watch anything he shows up in.

Oh, so those are the movies you think should've won that year they were nominated? I'd agree with some, but I think Inception should've won at 2011 Oscars. I think Memento should've won the 2001 Best Pic, but it wasn't even nominated. I already included a Nolan movie though, so I didn't want to include another.
All of those are amazing movies you listed though

And the Ascent, by the director of Come and See’s late wife. Both make for an excellent pairing of Russian war movies.

Yeah it’s a decent war movie but it’s not All Quiet. Every single departure from the book was a poor choice and made the movie worse than it should have been. There’s a good reason Germans hate that movie.

watch any behind the scenes and Jackie was super frustrated working with western directors cutting up the action/hits, and various other bits of staging action (like why Jackie might want to handle the guy with a gun first)

I can't believe Vertigo wasn't nominated! Wow, and that's hailed as neck-and-neck best movie of all time with Citizen Kane. Good one.

Reply to ‘PAW’ Patrol: The Mighty Movie’ Release Date Pushed Up By Paramount From October 13 To Go Wide On September 29 by lowell2017
I got super pumped for this movie after the script leaked. Apparently, Chase discovers that the rest of the paw patrol are all in the pocket of Mayor Humdinger. When he tries to drop a dime on them, they try to take him out BUT he survives the hit. Then one by one he exacts his revenge… outside of the law! Very dope!

Jovan Adepo is one of the next greats. Excited to see him in this.
