Uh Jackie Chan did not Voice Jackie Chan in Jackie Chan Adventures. I guess you can count those 30 second interview clips with him in each episode though.

I don’t mean to be prick, but it’s Wes’s worst one. Royal Tenenbaums is probably his best.

John carrol lynch is the main character of anything he’s in and you can’t convince me otherwise.

My favourite Scorsese flick and De Niro performance, he’s utterly mesmerising.

I know there’s the general consensus of that “it’s accurate for its time frame” but the overall pedophilic love story I was just not feeling.

That’s essentially what it is and I feel like I'm in the minority when I say Joker wasn’t all that good. It got the two Oscars it most deserved but beyond that it’s not that compelling. It is an aesthetic copy of Scorsese thrillers with a shiny comic book movie cover and an overly-edgy fanbase whose only prior knowledge of the Joker character comes from Heath Ledger’s performance in The Dark Knight, and then they think the character is “deep” and “meaningful” in ways that comics and movies don’t even portray him.
Also people like to praise this film for its writing but people forget like half the movie is this weird amateur detective subplot that accomplishes nothing other than comic book nods to characters like Bruce Wayne and Alfred and locations like Arkham Asylum.

The movie Nope seemed really boring compared to most the films I have viewed. However, the scene where the monkey goes postal on the family really was the best/most memorable part of that film

Super Troopers 2 retroactively makes Super Troopers a lesser film because of how completely unnecessary and "phoned in" it was

I can definitely see the argument for Club Dread being worse. Club Dread was... weird and a lot of the jokes were overall weaker. But I think it is a better representation of the Broken Lizard "vibe" of... just being really frigging weird and unnecessary. Which is exemplified by 1's climax being a "funny but bog standard" action sequence as the good cops (ugh) fight the bad drug dealers. And then we just have drunken Brian Cox beating the shit out of Daniel von Bargen and having that simultaneous "ha, this is funny" and "... why is this happening? How is this happening?".

I’ve seen both of those. Armour of God is “Operation Condor 2” in the west, and Supercop is the third Police Story. So those are included in my honourable mentions.
The release of the Operation Condors in particular can be quite confusing. In China, Armour of God is the first one and Armour of God II: Operation Condor is the second one. In the US, they were switched, with the second one being released first as “Operation Condor”, and then Armour of God being released second as “Operation Condor 2: Armour of the Gods”. I tend to refer to them as “the Operation Condors” because they’re kind of interchangeable in my mind and I never remember which one is which. It doesn’t help that it’s been a while since I watched them. I feel like “Operation Condor” (US first release) is the one with the wind tunnel, and then “Operation Condor 2: Armour of the Gods” is the one with the monks and crazy savage women and balloon ball.
