Each vignette certainly had a main character.

Reply to comment by misterfriend in In Titanic (1997), Suppose Rose stopped seeing Jack like her mother told her to. Would Cal have been abusive to her? by zsiple1998
I just think the idea that there must be one great love of your life a bit unrealistic, and pointless. Like you don't rank your children, why significant others? And I wouldn't mind if any of my grandparents spoke to me of a first love, I find it hard to understand why I would care (especially in context without Jack, Rose would never have met her granddaughter's grandfather). Even if you personally don't have any grandparents with more than one spouse or kids with other people, it's quite common
Rose isn't depicted as only caring about what she can get from others, what do you mean by that?

It is pod racing, it is the only thing that matters.
Until we find out what is really pod racing.
It is amazing to think I will make a 200 million dollar movie that is supposed to stand the test of time. I will get a random guy to help me write it, and it will have a character named Jar Jar Binks. And that is not the only stereotypes I will include.
Years later this person would claim Disney were like his slave owners even though Lucas was free and was paid a billion+. Lucas is like 3 steps removed from the Limbaughs of the world. Not helping the rest of us much.

Interstellar had a pretty good score and definitely adds the right emotions in the right spots.

Never seen it but if the south park parody of it is anything to go off of it must be pretty epic.

Sometimes ridiculous is good! It makes it more relatable because life isn’t serious 100% of the time. I’m with you on that!

Bit of a cliché maybe but for me it's still Interstellar iconic soundtrack, nothing beats it for me hearing it for the first time, getting inevitable goosebumps every time you listen to it.

Reply to If the film 65 with Adam Driver were to have a plot twist, what do you think it would be? by Aralmin
Driver's last line in the film is "Life, uh, finds a way" and the audience realizes he's an ancestor of Dr Ian Malcolm.

Reply to Does Hollywood do "test balloon" movies to see how we react to actors before giving them a larger role? by rdtthoughtpolice
I know this happened with Will Smith. Before about 2010, it was very rare for a TV actor to successfully cross over into movies. Smith had just come off five years of doing The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, and it was a real surprise when Michael Bay cast him in Bad Boys (1995), which was a big hit.
Roland Emmerich then took a gamble casting him in pivotal role in Independence Day (1996), where Smith pretty much stole the show. After it became the top grossing movie of that year, Hollywood finally recognized Smith as a leading man, and he got top billing for Men in Black (1997) where he was acting opposite industry legend Tommy Lee Jones.
