Die Hard
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Super Troopers
The Thing
The Shawshank Redemption
Superbad
Fight Club
Edge of Tomorrow
Planes, Trains, and Automobiles
First Blood
The Fifth Element
(Tried to think of classics that start strong and don’t let up, whether it’s action, drama, comedy, whatever).

The Incredible Hulk, when Hulk and Abomination are going at it, and Hulk starts to rage and overpowers Abom. Awesome.

Yeah I was watching a YouTuber talk about reading through 16th Century religious polemics and kept seeing them making comments that weren’t any different than him saying “I can already hear some of you commenting in the chat…” which is hilarious. Also in my own historical research I did about communists and nihilists in the 19th Century, I couldn’t help but imagine them getting into “you’re not a real fan unless…” kind of arguments based on the impression I got from some of them.

She projectile vomits and falls over dead, then the credits roll for a bit before you realize she’s in the Wong Kar-wai verse. And it’s this sequence of events leading to the rock scene and round 2 against Juju Chewbacca.

If you're looking for standard fun JC with great fight choreography, then it would probably be Rush Hour 3 even if the movie didn't stand up to Rush Hour 2's quality.

Drunken Master II was the last GREAT Jackie movie - Rumble in the Bronx was the beginning of the end. Best Jackies:
Project A, parts I and II
Police Story I-III
Dragon Lord
Dragons Forever (a personal fave because it's got the 3 brothers in it)
Drunken Master I & II

Marvel movies from the last 10 years are tailor-made for people with ADHD. The pacing of those movies are pretty consistent, for the most part they stick to the "A" plot, and the action is easy to follow.
For a movie that is less exploding colors, and more thoughtful, I think Memento will hold your attention. Each scene in Memento is like a mini-story that leaves you curious to see where it leads next, and into the next, and into the next. It has a manageable runtime and I think your astuteness will be rewarding.

Thanks, will check it out. You also reminded me of the episode of Adventure time where Finn comes close to dying but Jake snappes out of his nirvana state and saves him. Kinda teared up

There is a Stallone movie where he plays a trucker and the plot revolves around arm wrestling competition.

Not 1 movie but if you combine Wrath of Khan and Search for Spock. Athough Vulcans don't show emotions that was a messed up way to die. The carbon copy of this is Star Trek Into Darkness.
The Abyss has what you're looking for.

I actually really liked The Foreigner, even if it was a bit derivative. Best, I’d say Police Story. Supercop and Who Am I are up there.

A great cartoon example of this is the Haunted House episode of Samurai Jack. Jack is "killed" and taken to the spirit realm where he faces off against a demon. He must defeat the demon in battle in order to win his life back. He does this successfully, and frees an entire haunted house from a dark curse in the process.

Amazing catch. How special to reframe a silly gag into something more poignant.
