Wow thank you! When you say just below center height are you referring that you also look for that in terms of location of calibration?

Reply to Jackie Chan's last good movie? by Ebbemonster
The last time he was truly relevant for me was probably Shanghai Knights, which I enjoyed, but wouldn’t say is a great movie.
The best I’ve personally seen of him since then was his part in The Karate Kid, where I thought he gave a really good performance.
I haven’t seen The Foreigner, so can’t speak to that one.
I’d say his best movie of all time is Legend of Drunken Master… OR Rush Hour 2.
Honorable mention to Rush Hour 1, Rumble in the Bronx and the Operation Condors. And Police Stories.
Mr. Nice Guy is really good too.
And Shanghai Noon is actually one of my favourites.
OH, and Twin Dragons!
Fuck it, he’s got a LOT of great movies. I can’t pick a best.

Reply to 'The Two Jakes' - quality? by PieceVarious
sequel was unnecessary, but it is watchable
it expands on the plot points and corruption themes from the first flim, substituting oil control instead of water
Gittes still haunted by the past tragedy, and it forms his obsessions, and guides his decisions in this film
Nice retro set design, cinematography add to the period vibe
and Meg Tilly provides fine support, that results in a twist I did not see coming,

We just estimate 2/3s the distance from the screen, no counting rows, just look at the room and make a judgment call. You also want to be just below the centerline height wise

The Oscar’s haven’t been a prestige achievement in decades. She will be fine if she doesn’t win that award.

I didnt claim otherwise, you missed my point. Jackies energy and charisma more than compensate for his issues with the language. Michelle doesnt have the energy nor charisma, let alone his skills at martial arts and stunt work. She isnt the worst at fight or stunts, but she also isnt anything special either.

Yeah what a ridiculous statement lmao.
Pretty much all throughout movie history, movies have been made for Men by Men. Even now, most movies are still made that way
