Why? Would Greek mythology figures be more heroic if they had big beer bellies and burped? Gods, idols, heroes--they are all larger than life. So are movies for the most part.

It's not that way by accident. Realism is great, but how many of the all-time grossing movies are realistic?

There have been regulations in place since 1939 about harming animals on film.

The tapirs were on loan from a UK zoo, and from what I can find online, they were returned unharmed.

They may have used props for the scene.

oh you meant the old French one, yeah, its amazing. I have seen it before, but didn't mind watching it again. It really is an amazing adaptation of a horror story written 130 years ago, and filmed 50 years ago. Its really good.

500 Days Of Summer - Sweet Disposition still does something to me to this day.

I grew up on the Footloose soundtrack and that holds more nostalgia for me than the movie itself.

I also really appreciate the musical scores of Slumdog Millionaire, Donny Darko, and Amelie (just to name a very select few).

Revealed preference is the concept you're looking for

> Therefore, revealed preference is a way to infer the preferences of individuals given the observed choices. It contrasts with attempts to directly measure preferences or utility, for example through stated preferences.
