Captain America: Civil War, airport fight scene...Cap's team needs a distraction, something big. Scott promises he can do it...jumps onto Rhodey, pulls up his arm gadget, slides it from red to blue...and it was in that SPLIT second that it all suddenly clicked into place for me as I realized what he was about to do.

The moment he turns into Giant Man my deduction got paid off gives me thrills every single time I rewatch that film.

And of course Portals...nothing beats Portals.

I disagree on the fact it's "that bad". It's not a great movie, nor a good movie, but it's an average movie. For me, it's better than the last two Asterix live action movies. Not too difficult you would say as there were really bad.

Most gags are meh. Some are extremely cringe bordering being racists. And some made me chuckle. Lots of guest stars, most being unknown outside of France or even to a lot of French people.

Guillaume Canet (Asterix) and Gilles Lellouche (Obelix) are friends in real life and you do see it which is nice as Asterix & Obelix will always be associated together. However, they are not the most logical choice for either Asterix or Obelix.

I would say it's a "you can see it" movie if you are an Asterix fan and it will work with kids. Still better to be French to understand parts of it.

I’m not really concerned with inaccuracies, other than wondering if what looked to me like an inaccuracy actually was my misunderstanding of history, which turned out to be the case. It’s fun to question what we know and learn from it. Knowing it was Tarantino I immediately thought “does he know something I don’t?” And that turned out to be the case. Not at all a “gotcha” type of thing

I love how two people settled their differences and afterward there was no grudge, hostilities, shit talking, media propaganda campaign, or talks of lawsuits so people have to manufacture their own drama over it. like damn, a dude insulted a dude's wife and for once it was handled in a way everybody would have wanted to handle it if it had happened to them and we can't let that go.
