maybe not dinosaurs per se, but I think it's possible all the water has passed through an organism at some point.

Nah, too fine a line between "important history" and honoring - even unintentionally - racist assholes who still have way too much of an impact on society. I say burn it and bury the ashes.
But if you really want it "remembered," see if there's a university or a museum that might be interested. I definitely would NOT keep it myself, or leave it in private hands.
