I've always thought the Reddit colors are strange. I usually associate red/orange with stop/error indicators and green/blue with the opposite.

Those are not rubber bands but are the plastic strips that hold the gun nail racks together. They not only space the nails out evenly but also hold them at the proper angle for the guns rack.
