This is from a gas station in Western PA (And other areas surrounding western PA like WV and OH and MD) called Sheetz. They do this from time to time. And sometimes the week of holidays they drop E85 gas down to SUPER low prices.
A pretty decent gas station overall.

Looks like ink. The dot pattern is pretty common on videojet industrial printers and this is what the text would look like. Lazer engraving doesn't use the dot pattern.

I wrapped half in duct tape and then just put it in a pile of ketchup for maybe five-ten minutes. I had heard it works, but didn’t really think it actually would!
