Those exact ones have been around for at least 10 years where I live but I never found them useful for everyday house use. Not having a cardboard core makes the whole roll flimsy, especially when you're halfway through. In fact I've noticed It's usually the one brand left when the supermarket is in need of restocking and all the good paper is gone. It's a mildly curious object for sure but kinda sucks

I park by the loading zone and walk straight in the doors where the registers are. Turn right to the other entrance, and there’s a little hidden door by the restrooms where the marketplace is. BAM! I’m exactly where I need to be and when I check out my car is right there
