Phone screens in a dark theater are distracting and a little blinding. I would imagine these giant, white, rectangular lights popping up all around you would do a similar thing. Or did you not encounter this issue?

You actually missed a couple things. Alaskan crab fields are at disastrous lows currently. This years snow crab season was fully cancelled. Lobster has also seen a large increase in prices the past few years mostly as Chinese demand has increased. A larger and larger portion of Atlantic Lobster is being sold at a premium to East Asian customers.
