I’ve never seen anything like this before, I just learned it’s called an ice heave. In the video you can see how the fall over like dominoes

I think this is deposition; a phase change (condensation, evaporation, etc.) where the cold morning air skips the liquid moisture phase and directly becomes a solid, the frost.

Are you sure they are snow flakes? Is* there frost on trees around you by chance? I typically see this when frost comes down from the wind. Both hoar and brine frost look like this when they are released.

well i actually don’t think it’s that many. and i can’t speak for his knife purchases but my set is pretty basic. Chef’s knife, long slicer knife, paring knife, small and large serrated, peeler knife and santoku knife.
depends on what i’m doing in the kitchen but they all get good use
