Simpsons hasn‘t been funny in like a dozen seasons but it used to be good satire of life in the US. Family guy is mostly simple humor or absurd stuff for sure but also some great satire, for example I love how the chicken fights ridicule action movies, it was so over the top and came out of nowhere, really cracked me up. Southpark would have never been included in your list if the quality of the show didn‘t drop massively. Rick and Morty is just garbage imo, I can see the appeal but just like Futurama the setting and everything about the show just seems highly irrelevant.

The nascar episode was something else, and there are numerous hilarious episodes like it, but I couldn‘t care less about it anymore. The satire parts don‘t seem relevant anymore, maybe they are for US citizens only, the jokes are forced because everyone will run out of ideas after going for this long.

Matt Stone and Trey Parker are borderline geniuses dude if you don’t find any of SP funny or at least entertainingly relevant you are probably not understanding the satire or points they make with the show tbh. The other shows are fart jokes and “remember the time I” humor but honestly SP is still good.

Just being open minded and having a sense of humor helps us enjoy these shows lol

The only thing they have in common is it's animation also or mainly for for adults meant to make you laugh and make satire. Apart from that it's like stepping into complete different universes of plotmaking and comedy imho

Honestly I dont know enough about that show to judge it. I only saw a trailer once. However if it is the same category of show I propably wont find it funny

I mean I can only judge based on what I have seen and I had the impression these shows and their jokes were pretty similar. There sure may be differences I dont know about

Well there's a lot of variety in those shows anyway, most people like some of them more or hate some of them and love others, and there's a variety of different kind of jokes inside them. I get it's not your thing I don't love some of those which you listed tbh, but it doesn't really feel like they are all the same category to me

Nah, theres no salt. I just dont find it funny. Whenever I see a clip of any of these I just wonder how you can find that funny.

I used to love South park but the PC principal run kinda killed it, and making randy the main focus burned the body.

Im open to be proven wrong with funny scenes or something but for me it always was just simple/weird and not funny whenever I gave it a try.

I respect that, its the stuff thats “funny cause of how dumb it is” ? I think people just like to laugh at silly shit but I agree its no where as funny as “smart jokes”
