you need the title and proof you paid sales tax on the car,so bill of sale including the tax on the sale would work.If the car is gifted, you would need proof of the gift.I don't know all the laws on gift tax so having it sold for a $1 is a common good idea plus the 6 cents tax on the $1

You turn in to them the out of state title and you get mailed a MA Title.

You fill out a form and you get plates and a sticker and you are all set.Title and bill of sale/proof of gift and you're all set!

Yes make an appointment but no .no one else needs to be with you,the Title is your proof of ownership ,because they will run the the VIN on the title and if it's stolen they will know.

This should be interesting. State Auditor Diana DiZoglio responds that "we are not asking for permission". The classic, if you have nothing to hide, you shouldn't be concerned.

I would believe Speaker Mariano that the "people of the Commonwealth are final arbiters of the performance of their duly elected representatives" if every time I went to vote there was more than one option to elect a representative. It's hard to take this position seriously when the vast majority of elected representatives run uncontested election after election. It's difficult to arbitrate performance when the elected representatives only need their own ballot to win their seat.

Idk what you mean by “it doesn’t apply”..

It seems x1000 times easier to just pass a state or local law making it so this woman’s case is dismissed. The alternative that you are advocating would require billions and billions of taxpayer dollars and a ridiculous amount of time in court for each property owner in the long run

All I’m saying is that America is one of the only countries in the developed world that considers the concept of simply walking down a path a crime and that should say something about the validity of this woman’s complaint. As well as the concept of the gross misuse of tax dollars to buy huge amounts of empty land nationwide (hello, private beaches) when our representatives could codify peoples right to walk in open land like the rest of the world.

Maybe it’s the fact that this entire country is stolen that makes Americans so touchy about this..

If you go there for the food, you get what you ask for.

Same for 7-11. I don't get how anyone eats that shit, but I'm not the one eating it so more power to them.

One could assume it's mostly construction, landscaping and road crew types working close by, but there have been many times I've seen Uber Eats picking up a delivery order for someone.
