Not sure what you mean. That’s a perfectly legitimate issued license plate.

Nope, just the one they mailed me. Bought and registered the car in Feb of 2021. Overall format is #AAA ##

What format is the plate? Is it a special plate?

This comment was strange for me to see because I very very far see ocean, sail boats, whales, and islands. #Worcester #🥲

We disagree. Let it go. It's not "virtue signaling" to have a difference of opinion. I've lived in places you are describing and felt perfectly safe. You are free to feel differently. Now go away.

Look, I know it feels great to virtue signal and show everyone just how inclusive and progressive you are, but why don’t you keep it contained within your usual circlejerk and not do a great disservice to those not familiar with the area by steering them to clearly unsafe locations? It’s your types that routinely tell others places like Grove Hall are perfectly safe and anyone saying otherwise is all sorts of *ist.

Everyone write a good review for Andrew's Point so Google would drive more traffic there: https://maps.app.goo.gl/L1SRtBfm2uGhAAQg9?g_st=ic

Interesting, I registered my car in Feb but the last digit on the plate is 1. I guess it must've been a leftover or something

People buy property speculatively all the time with the goal of overturning stuff like this. Buying property is not some kind of agreement to abide by any unjust previous encumbrances on the property.
The easement either is or is not properly granted. If it isn’t, it should be overturned and the town should buy the property by eminent domain if it’s so important.

Then purchase the land from the landowner if it's so critical

https://www.neighborhoodscout.com/ma/brockton/crime - one out of 156 chance of being a victim of violent crime one out of 63 chance of being a victim of property crime might not be as bad as Jackson, MS but I would not call it “safe” by any means.

I've been through every state in this country several times and MA is fantastic for me - not perfect but the best mix I know of and (prices aside) heading in the right direction.

Seriously. The path has been public since the 1800s. What did you think was going to happen when you bought the property? I once had an apartment across the street from a bar. People were smoking on the street and talking loudly until 2 AM but I knew that when I signed the lease so I didn't complain. This homeowner is so entitled, I hope 7 dogs take a dump on her lawn this weekend.

Moved here from AZ in 2011. Didn’t know what towns were safe, dangerous or whatever.
I was fine. You will be too.

They are safe places to live. I don't care about your personal goalpost, it's irrelevant.

I managed just fine while I was in college(Framingham area) there are plenty of bars along Rt 9 (Golden Triangle)and it was only about a 20 minute drive via the pike into Boston if we wanted to go clubbing. About the same via Rte 9 if we wanted to hit up Worcester too.

That wasn’t my question - I specifically asked, are you saying Brockton or Lawrence have lower crime rate than an average middle class square state suburb?

What go to Market Basket or Papa Gino’s? No offense to either because I like both. For a college kid there’s not a whole lot of night life. Of course there’s things to do but not like in a city.

On one hand, fuck the NIMBYs. On the other, i can see why towns are getting fed up with their beaches getting trashed on a daily basis.

Interesting and it doesn’t say Jan on the upper left? It should if the digit all the way on the right is a 1.
