You might be interested to know that is generally not the case. I mean they do bring in more revenue, but working-age residents generally cost a municipality more than those residents bring in with taxes. Increasing residential population without growth in commercial and/or industrial sectors ruins a town's budget and ability to meet the needs of its residents.

This is accounted for already - search for 'MBTA communities with limited or no transit station area' in this page-

https://www.mass.gov/info-details/section-3a-guidelines

The short answer seems to be 'wherever it makes sense, just meet the contiguity and density requirements'.

Not only that, he made a post that got like no attention about how much personal stuff he's allowed to read on people's fb accounts due to his job which is worrisome given how he responds to even having a little bit of control and power

Thanks for this, i haven't seen it before. I'll take a more thorough look when I've got the time.

I think my main complaint with assembly is that they made a huge commitment to having an incredible amount of parking in the area which means 1) lots of wasted space 2) lots of cars ruining the space and 3) lots of political resistance to reducing car usage in the area

Well, as long as they have been vetted and maybe been around for a good long while. I cant imagine how this sub would have degraded had the other mod been made top mod.

Maybe when the time comes you could have both the current mods of the sub and the community take a vote and then use the outcomes as a good starting point on where to go next.

This doesn't even make any sense. Benefits of Boston? Car alarms, break ins, high cost of rentals, noise, traffic, lousy schools? I chose to live in a quieter and calmer town. I left whatever benefits you imagine for something else. This doesn't give everyone else the right to force their views on zoning on my town. I also don't get to force my views on Boston or other communities.

I am happy about my choices and everyone who wants to hinder that will find me an enemy in some fashion.

We had kinda rolled it around in our heads, but my SO really struggles to drive in traffic to the point where I think he would possibly have a really really bad wreck. I have friends in Durham and I love to visit though. It’s so refreshing to see people under the age of 50 out and about bc it’s retiree central here! We might keep and rent out our house near the beach as a retirement option!
