Got my vote. I'm skeptical that the mod in question would do any such thing voluntarily. Looking at their history and the comments made? Nah, this person is utterly convinced of their superior position and fully believes they are taking out the trash.

It's not outward-looking care for the community, it's inward-looking narcissism.

I was planning on trying to message u/ky1e the original moderator of the sub. However he appears to be inactive only occasionally jumping on reddit.

I would try talking with the current one however we had already had a bad interaction several months ago when i questioned why my post was taken down and got what i considered to be a lackluster answer.

As far as I'm aware there really is no other way of circumventing them

Yes I'm aware of how the promotion to moderator works as i am one in a sub of similar size to this on a separate account as this is my personal one.

In aforementioned subreddit there is a mod team of 11 people, able to cover much more ground and get a better opinion on what the sub should be all about.

As far as diluting the power voluntarily goes maybe it wouldn't be so much about a strip of power completely but just taking a step back while some others form a good outline of what the sub should look like

I will also be at one of them, Ill be pushing the subject of electrification and dual mode multiple units, might as well do it right the first time instead of kneecapping it and then spending a lot more to fix it later on.

Yes said moderator can still see reply to delete etc.. the posts and comments you make in the community. In order to view your account or PM you they would need to unblock you

Will definitely be there. The whole reason I created a reddit account and joined this sub over a year ago was to bring the issue of the east-west railway stall and the issue of Charlie Baker being lobbied out of it by the owner of the Peter Pan Bus Company

If a mod blocks you but doesn’t ban you, can they see your posts in the subreddit they moderate? Our one active mod has me blocked (along with many others, I’d assume) and I imagine there is now an army of shadow people running around in the sub. Seems like we’d need at least one more active mod at a bare minimum lol.

I live 40 minutes to the south, and used to go there after work and dinner.

I would be arriving as the after school programs were ending and ski pretty much non-stop from 8-10. Good times.

Now that I'm retired, I try to get up there twice a week, and have a great time skiing, with not a lot of crowd.

Their Bronze pass is one of the bargains of the mountain, especially if purchased early.

I see from their website that their estimated closing is April 2.

You know, I want to argue, but I know you’re right at the same time. At the very least, they have a hard deadline to apply for an FRA grant for the rail, so maybe this time will be different? Probably not, I’m just trying to be optimistic.
