I paid off my student loans, now I’m hoping others get their loans forgiven. I’d like things to be easier for the future generation not harder.

Some farms run a Farm to Table dinner evening events, but I don't know how common it is during the winter months. The only one on there now is a cooking class

Pretty sure Amtrak goes through there.

You should check Airbnb! They have a section with “experiences” that are mostly led by locals, like tours. I just did a quick search and there are several options for food tours in local neighborhoods, and you may be able to contact a guide to create a custom event. Enjoy!

When are you coming? I have a couple ideas but time of year is pretty important.

Wilson Farms in Lexington MA has "Dinner in the Field" which we enjoy. You will have to wait for the warmer months. https://www.wilsonfarm.com/v2.0/events/events.html

Add some typical American cuisine (cheese whiz on a cracker appetizer, burger and fries, brownie sundae for dessert. Doesn’t need to be a fancy house, just authentic. Get yourself listed on Viator.
Tourists would pay big bucks for the experience.

I don’t know if my family ever went to the actual restaurant but we hit up the Braintree butcher shop all the time

I have heard of this in New Zealand, Ireland, and Beijing but never in Massachusetts. No harm in asking though. Someone with a deep Boston accent and a good sense of humor and lots of slang could earn big bucks as a side gig this way actually.

This many not mean as much to many of you guys here but there was one good South Indian Restaurant here called Pongal in Billerica. Amazing buffet. Closed down a few years back. Never had decent South Indian Food near Boston after that.

It doesn't really exist in MA but I don't mind making you BBQ or something if you want

We’re staying for a long weekend 😁. I don’t want to push anyone, just checking if anyone knows about this kind of activity in the state 😅

There’s Bancroft Castle in Groton that is ruins but really cool to check out and also Hammond Castle in Gloucester which is a museum but you can go to the iconic arches over looking the ocean without buying tickets/it being open as long as there are no private functions.

Hahaha I love how foreign this post is! The idea of a stranger coming into our home to have dinner with us and learn our culture is super creepy to Americans.
Your best bet is to look for "friends" or meet ups probably on your local Facebook page (depending where you are in MA) and clearly state you wish to learn American culture and make friends.
Then make a meet up at a bar or restaurant, definitely not someone's house haha

Maybe not exactly what you’re looking for, it’s kinda pricey and a bit of a trek to get to, but the farm dinners are always a bunch of fun and really good.

Can’t help with that but welcome!
Love your icebergs and your people.
You might want to fit Plymouth Colony while you are here.
How long are you staying?

I got a free ride in the 90s thanks to a Pell grant, and I hope others get their loans forgiven because that shit has become predatory as fuck in the past few decades! OP, rethink your attitude.
