MA has one mountain (Wachusetts). It's pretty small, about 800', though they offer night skiing and I find it to be a pretty good practice mountain.

A short drive up north (2-4 hrs) to NH, VT, or ME and you have A LOT of options for some amazing skiing whether you're a beginner, or a hard core expert, or want to relax with your family.

Can you clarify OP? Are you looking to move and wondering how the skiing is? Nobody would choose to fly to Mass. to ski from Colorado unless you are visiting family or something.

Add Harvard next door to Boxborough. If I didn’t have to commute, I’d easily live in Harvard. Beautiful town that feels like it is the berkshires dropped into Eastern MA.

Would add Hopkinton, Westbrough, Northborough towns here. Hopkinton has best schools, but I love the westborough / northborough vibes.

Might find something in Carlisle as well, although I think that is pricier.

Sherborn has top end schools but is significantly cheaper than Dover (though still expensive). But Sherborn seems to be returning to pre pandemic levels where no houses go up for sale there

born and raised in Toronto. Just moved to Boston for work. Not going to lie I'm thinking same about moving back...after I get some work experience. I don't know what it is for me but something about this city doesn't feel right. No disrespect to people of Boston they're awesome, and the city beautiful.

Just wondering ...what got you thinking about returning to Toronto?

I want to mention Dunkin got nothing on Tims !

Also, folks in my city have routinely voted for Paul Donato, a Democrat on paper, but Republican by voting record, and who would absolutely outlaw abortion if he could. These are the folks I'm talking about.

We recently moved to Acton, which meets most of your criteria. Property values are lower than the suburbs closer to Boston, and the schools are fantastic. Similar to Concord, but a little more affordable and not really that much further away. One thing I love about Acton is how much green space and conservation land there is. It would be similar in many ways to your current location.
