CT has appointments for everything as well. If you go into that subreddit, you'll find the DMV is nearly universally praised by people for how their experiences have been since Covid.

My last experience in Enfield, I had to get a duplicate title for my car. My appointment was at 4:15pm. You'd think they would almost certainly be running behind, but I got seen right on time. The guy helping me was very efficient, done in under 5 minutes with title in hand.

Yeah I've been really disappointed in all of the Globe's BPS articles like this that seem to make mountains out of molehills, like the piece a few days ago trying to make a 2% budgeting error a giant conspiracy. You meet once a week for a roughly a semester. It’s brutal, but mandatory in the end. I know a few who have passed the test instead of taking the class, they might even have test prep books out there now. There is a place in Northampton that offers the course, The Collaborative.

What if you can’t reach the middle and got as much as you can off? My suv is small and I’m only 5’. Even standing in my car door and full reach I can’t get the middle. I ended up going around my block and stopping suddenly so it wild fall forward and then clean from my windshield but I could just feel everyone giving me guff.
