BPS are a dumpster fire. Philadelphia has been exposed, Chicago has been exposed. It won't be long. I may not have the answer to your problem, but as a whole, the education systems in Massachusetts towns & cities appear to operate in echo chambers. Blissfully unaware of their tax burdens on communities, levels of waste & inefficiency. Boston specifically has some of the highest per students expenditures in the country. The level of waste in bussing has been exposed. Eventually as the economy constricts over the course of your next 2-3 contracts, more waste will get cut out of the system. If you're not part of the solution then you're part of the problem. Judging by the down votes, I'll assume the latter

That's usually how I go about cleaning my roof. Let it warm up enough to get a layer of wet between the snow and car. Jam on brakes. Sometimes you gotta pop the sunroof open a little to loosen it.

I've 90% internalized that I need to have different expectations of lifestyle than how I grew up. And, that it's not a personal failing to live a simpler life than my parents were able to have. So that makes it a little easier.

I think you'll find a very welcoming community and the Pioneer Valley, and in Berkshire county. That is one of the benefits in moving to and living in one of the most highly educated States in the country

You'll find more permanent employment opportunities as the school year ends.

The immediate North Hampton area is quite expensive for the region. As you go further out, especially north and West, you'll find prices drop relatively quickly.

Take some time and check out the area before you settle in permanently. There are a lot of unique regions and character to the towns in the area.

In 2015 I was on the pike and an SUV probably 2.5-3 car lengths ahead of me had a sheet of frozen snow fly off its roof. I thought it would be powder and just poof away if it hit me. Nope. Smashed in my windshield, jettisoned my rear view mirror into the back seat, and even dented a small part of the roof where the windshield met the metal of the car. To this day if it rains really hard, I'll get a small leak going inside.

I rage hard at anyone I see who hasn't cleared their roof off. They make long snow scrapers, I know you can get one. Don't be a lazy piece of shit.
