It doesn't exist. You'll need to:
- Buy
- Share a 2-3 bedroom
- Rent 2 apartments in the same facility
- Move out of state

I'm a millennial and I graduated college 20 years ago. We're in our 40's now.

I highly recommend Meche’s Donuts in Lafayette. Not dry, super tasty, lots of flavors available. Haven’t had one from New Orleans to beat it yet.

It’s supposed to bring good luck. It also brings a lighter wallet because if you get the baby Jesus you’re buying/making the next cake.

Reply to comment by funkygrrl in Why Mass why? Highest LLC formation and annual fee rate in the USA by funkygrrl
There’s a lot of reasons it could be higher, maybe MA has a lot more going on in terms of auditing businesses. Maybe MA wants to incentivize people to be general S Corps because they understand that there’s virtually little difference outside of the protections afforded to LLCs.
Regardless, it’s not really that important in the grand scheme of things. $500 should be a drop in the bucket for LLCs for MA.
If you want to point to other states, then you should take into account other parts of MA compared to that state (higher COL, other of the many indicators pointing to MA as being a top living destination state).

Single household millennial here. Make 80k and bought a Leominster house for 250k. Made about 10k worth of house updates. I’d also say I am very, very lucky.

Also had to Google what this is, but! I saw this at Union Square Donuts in Somerville this weekend (well, a Mardi Gras Cinnamon Roll).
I've known this as Gallete des rois, but does not look like the Mardi Gras version. This version is a flaky pastry with almond filling 🤤 Made it once. Also, Clear Flour Bakery in Brookline sells this version...super delish 😊

Hopefully your wealth management is strongly advising their clients not to use all retirement savings and rainy day funds to purchase a house…right?

Off the record gives a 90% chance of getting it dismissed, but will cost around $250. Might be worth it, just to save insurance points possibly?

I was in Burke VT all weekend and there's not much snow up there either. You've basically got to go a few hours into Canada to find power. Unfortunately it's been a fairly dismal year for the entire east coast from a snow accumulation standpoint.

Reply to Question about unemployment by Ok_Sorbet9577
Unemployment insurance is funded by a tax employers pay on their payroll. They are supposed to pay this tax to the state on a quarterly basis. They do not run the program. They cannot choose to offer Unemployment Insurance or not. It is not up to them.
Unemployment Insurance is a Federal/State run program which was designed to help workers who lost a job through no fault of their own. UI is not a benefit an employer can withhold. The employer cannot legally prevent you from filing a claim. Only the State UI Division can determine if you qualify. You do not file UI through your employer. You file through the State.
If you file a claim and the employer retaliates and fires you, that is against the law. In order for you to be denied UI the employer would have to show just cause...i.e. have a good reason for firing you. There would have to be documentation of things like warnings, disciplinary write ups, etc. The employer has to prove you were fired with cause.
It's possible this company isn't paying their UI payroll taxes and thus doesn't want the State looking into a UI claim. If someone files for UI the first thing that happens is that the claims system looks at the wage record file to see the employee's earnings as reported quarterly on the employer's payroll tax submission. That's how they determine if you meet the quarterly earnings requirement for UI. If the employer is not reporting or not submitting their taxes that will trigger an investigation and a fraud investigator will be sent out to audit their books.
If you think something fishy is going on you can always call the UI division and tell them your company prevents its employees from filing for UI. You can file an anonymous fraud complaint.
Source: I used to work for the department that oversees the UI division.

Yes, you'll be before a magistrate and they'll be a police officer rep to read the charge. Dress in your Sunday best and be very apologetic they may drop it.
If not take it to court, if the officer doesn't show you won't be held accountable. It's worth the extra fees if you think about the hundreds of dollars you'll pay in insurance premiums for the next three years

Older millennial here….income is right in that range. We bought in Franklin. Schools were good and taxes are low compared to the area. Husband often works in Boston and Worcester. We didn’t buy at the top of our budget though…we bought the cheapest fixer upper we could. We didn’t want to be house poor. We have five kids and only 1900 sq ft but the layout is great. I really really like franklin a lot. Originally from dorchester and husband is from west Roxbury

Depending on your closest RMV does drop in or appointments ,go as soon to the RMV and you can take the learners permit.Once you have that I believe (although it's been 30 years since I scheduled a road test) you schedule over the phone and likely today online.
It generally takes two weeks to get the road test
