If you don’t mind being on the NH border, you might think about going one notch North to state & sales tax free New Hampshire.

While I do not disagree with your statements, one work around would be to have the disruptive student come to school and be in their own room being taught. They would get the one on one, no distractions, working on their school work deficiencies, eat lunch at their desk, and being picked up by a parent if possible.

They would be removed from the other students who want to be there, yet it is not a free day off falling more behind. When they are caught up to the class they can rejoin them.

I flipped someone off the other day on rt 1 after they were aggressively following way too close behind me and then pulled out in front of me. They proceeded to drive really slow in front of me and switch lanes every time I did. Then they moved over and waited for me to pass again so they could throw something at my car. All bc I was just trying to keep at least a cars length in front of me. Because you know, safety.

I hate people so much

If you are a certified Middle School Science teacher, you can easily find employment in RI. The Providence Public Schools have generous hiring bonuses right now for hard to staff positions including the sciences and they will honor whatever teacher step you are on. I got hired at top step with all the bonuses this year and I'm very happy in my position so far. Rhode Island is much more affordable as well, so you can live comfortably and enjoy the benefits of living in Southern New England.

I have lived here (BTW, Tewksbury) for 19 years and I love it. Route 38 is the main road and traffic can be pretty grim but other than that it's great. You have fairly easy access to three major highways; 93, 95 and 495 and multiple train stations if you prefer that.

Also while the route 38 traffic gets backed up it's not THAT bad and it's backed up because there are places to go. Lots of nice little restaurants including the best donuts in the state at Donna's, couple of hardware stores (Aubuchon is a nice small one and there's a Home Depot also) and a truly great library.

Lastly, it's a short jump up the highway to the tax free Rockingham Mall in Salem, NH. Highly recommended.

That implies "guys" needs to be replaced when it doesn't.

The real issue is that English got rid of the plural second-person. So you know what's really acceptable (and I'm hardly a prescriptivist)?

Just "you".
