Sure, perhaps those fit OP. They wouldn’t come up on my searches though so I was unaware those prices were possible.

yes it was a projection. as in could be what is going on now. Local news has reported on it, and claims it might be dust from texas causing the soot and smell.
Channel 5 explains likely cause to smell

Whats that smell, CT complains of oily rain
etc etc. Anyways i think its possible, so just be advised.

If the person is coming from TX, a trip from Springfield to Boston is a quick trip. The trip from Boston to Boston is where you get hung up.

Housing is expensive obviously, but if you’re coming from TX, you won’t feel like it takes much time to get places in MA. Depending on where you work, you might find something nearby that’s somewhat affordable. Welcome to MA!

I’ve always asked the cashier and they tell me the price. Then I just pay it.

Or, much more likely it was a much more local chemical disaster even more recently.

Middleboro is relatively cheap and has a commuter rail 1 hr into south station

I have been looking and maybe it’s my parameters but nothing is remotely close to that cheap.
A quick search right now has given me ~300-450k for old homes that either need some moderate renovation or a total gut job. Or downvote Springfield for 350k

Fwiw, pricing isn’t linear. The more they go, the cheaper it is per hour. At our daycare in Sudbury, a toddler for 10 hours a day, 5 days per week is 594, 4 days 580, 3 days is 472, 2 days is 344.

Harvard Museum of Natural History is awesome!!! It's free to Massachusetts residents every Sunday morning (year-round) from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and on Wednesdays from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm (September through May). Proof of residency required. RISD museum in Providence (which is also awesome) is free on Sundays all day and Thurs / Fri after five - just go to their website and reserve a ticket before you go.
Also, if you have a ConnectorCare card or an EBT card, you can get in to many museums for a steep discount or for free.

It’s not MA, it’s a “dependent care flexible spending account”. It’s a federal program but your employer has to support it.

Seconding, my brother actually teaches in Springfield and loves it. He and his wife have a way higher standard of living then they did in Revere just cause it's so much cheaper out there. There's honestly also a pretty decent amount to do, the 5 colleges area is fantastic.
