Really, really happy for the Mashpees prevailing in this decision. I used to work for a shellfish company that had a whole sale contract with them. Their growers were super, super friendly and would bring me with them out to their grants just to show me around when I was there just to meet them at a beach parking lot for a pick up. If you like oysters and ever see First Lights around, they are from the Mashpees and are of the highest quality.

I grew up northwest of 495 (Leominster, Lunenburg). beautiful area, more affordable (relatively speaking, that is), still a decent amount to do (I mean, it's not the city, but it's not empty, either), and lots of great schools. Littleton and Clinton are also lovely, and closer to 495.

I feel for the eastern part of MA they pay so much but make much more out in western MA I pay 200 a week food included and 120 a week for after school care for my oldest and I still struggle to pay that as I don’t make a a ton of money
