the next biggest component is probably the increase interest rates, as commercial loans are often variable rate. interest rates have doubled

The drainage runoff very likely takes this overwhelming chemical poisoning directly to the Hudson. Action should be taken to end all use of weed killer pesticides and harmful caustic fertilizer so close to the estuary boundary.

At some point you’d have to factor in the cost difference between renting at such a high price point vs buying a condo in the area. Not to say that makes sense for everyone but the rents around here are so mind boggling and my mortgage has stayed basically the same for years

Most of the mopeds I see riding around town don’t have plates either. It’s a total disregard for basic vehicle laws.

I personally don’t use it because the discount is really small (15 cents??) for the hassle of dealing with an extra transit thing.
