hm i just placed a Grubhub order, will follow up if it actually shows up. They're my favorite spot for takeout! I wonder if they just decided to ditch the GIGANTIC restaurant that was always empty and use a ghost kitchen?

Gamarello Plumbing and Heating. If you have a 2 family I’d keep it on separate utilities - you can’t charge people for it if they don’t have their own. If your other is really old I’d replace as well. Amazed it lasted 30 years.

That’s too bad. Hate to see businesses close like that. It’s a pretty large space, I too I’m curious to see what will come next

What would the fields be used for? Dog walking? Play areas? Picnics? Who would pay to put the fields back to right after the public tramples or damages them? Who would be responsible for cleaning and maintenance expenses? I can't agree that this is a good idea when there are other park options readily available for general use.

Absolutely should be used for little league baseball and for adult baseball on the big field, which it is. However the problem is it is empty so much of the time, and when it is empty it is locked up and nobody other than a few well connected people can use it.

It is criminal that a city sports field is idle as much as those fields are, that big grass baseball field could be used way more than it is. My fantasy is to setup a time lapse camera on that field to show how much it is empty, and take the video to a council meeting.

Again, nobody is proposing taking field time from little leagues (or big leagues), rather to make the field available for use when it is otherwise empty.

Robin.

Definitely a good place, but a bit pricey for what you get. Good beer selection, though. Awesome, their expanded seating is great when the weather is favorable. They used to do a lot of live music stuff, though we haven’t been in a few months, so I’m not sure if that’s still the case.

For the umpteenth time: the city of Jersey City has NOTHING to do with PATH. They have no say or control over what the Port Authority chooses to do, or not do, with regards to PATH stations or operations.

If you HOPE to have your voice heard, direct your complaints and rants to the Port Authority of NY and NJ.
