They are driving an unregistered car around a busy area. That makes them an irresponsible whole. Then they’re trying to pass that off with the stupidest pseudo intellectual bullshit. Even if it’s someone just borrowing that car, they’re still driving an unmarked vehicle around, which is a crime. Are you defending the criminal who is putting everyone else at risk for no good reason?

Sov-Cit: “Hello police, I’d like to report my private property that I use as a conveyance has been stolen.”
Cop: “You mean your car?”
Sov-Cit: “I mean my automobile that I use for travelling. It’s not a car because it’s not for commercial use.”
Cop: “Ok… what’s the make and model?”
Sov-Cit: “It’s a blue Ford Ranger, 2019 model.”
Cop: “They are common as. What’s the registration number so we can identify it?”
Sov-Cit: “…..”

Spending money on culture may not be frivolous, but an extravagant museum that we will all end up subsidizing for millions of dollars is over the top. Jersey City doesn't lack culture, and NYC is right across the river, as if anyone could forget.

I know I will continue to be downvoted for my opinion. The biggest issue is the Holland tunnel traffic. That needs to be fixed. I think we can all agree on that. Liberty state park and Columbus exits should be closed during the morning rush hour. My issue as someone who spent many years walking my kids to school in HP to now driving my kids to their school downtown is the crossing guards who are ill equipped and unaware of traffic laws. Some take it upon themselves to direct traffic, not their job. Some stop all intersections when one person is crossing to the right but prevent traffic flow to the left. And the pedestrians? Half on their phones, others chitchatting with the mom nearby approaching an intersection, waiting for their scooter kid to catch up, has held up other parents at other schools who don’t have the luxury to live in close proximity to their child’s school, sipping lattes at the corner, making it seem they might want to cross, stopping all traffic. Please. Is it frustrating yes, but it’s not an issue of the community, it’s this fucking administration who can’t figure out that we should be able to exist as a community without the onslaught of the commuter population. And I’m sorry OP if you are getting nearly run over so often, maybe take a look inward.

To add to this, look up Jaroschak Field in whatever map app you use and that will get you there. Jaroschak Field is where St. Peter’s U plays home softball/baseball/soccer games and the dog run is right next to it.

The city and state are paying to renovate the building, which the city owns

"Nazis bad, therefore they believed this exact thing I'm against!"
The nazis believe in a natural hierarchy and that violating it in any way must be forbidden. No women above men, no gender non-conformity, no race being above their own, and of course they needed a scapegoat for all the evils of the world, and they chose the jews, because it's easy to co-opt the existing conspiracies about them and make up more.
None of that comes remotely close to:
> Sometimes peoples’ beliefs are easy to misguide because they’re assholes

Not OP, but I have a good friend with a family member with MS - and they (friend) mask up / take extra precautions. Guessing anyone with an immune condition or taking immunosuppressant meds (or living with someone who is) would still be careful.

Exactly. If I moonlighted as parking enforcement in the small windows of drive around here I’m thinking I could easily clear tens of thousands of dollars a month for the city.
