Might be a small part of the city but big for everyone who’s an alumni, Saint Peters Prep has been downtown since the late 1800s. Had kids traveling in from all over the state to attend. You're assuming this person isn't the police, which is the first way this fails. The second way is that they're likely to be the kind of person with a gun and willing to threaten you for looking at them the wrong way, let alone getting into a fender bender. Oops, I already said they're the police.

Your referenced the discounts given during COVID. I said prices are significantly higher prior to those discounts. The prices aren’t “normalized”. The fact that if you want an apartment with a roommate and you need to spend $2k each a month isn’t “normal”

I definitely don't disagree. There are certainly far more issues that could be dealt with (I've learned about MOST of them since moving outside of downtown JC) but nothing wrong with a good investment in culture to ultimately enrich the city

I understand PATH is owned by Port Authority and not local JC government but you get my point. JSQ area is falling apart, repaving some of those roads would be a very good use of that money.
