Low rent? She's a public official she could at least look like she wants to act the part. She deserves it and her people should tell her how bad she looks She's low rent.

Yes this! Who works for her? Make appointments now -- gym, plastic surgeon, dermatologist, dentist. Even a makeup artist or photo editor would help.

How is someone this hideous in politics? No different in person She must be too drunk to ever look at a mirror. She did select red for a PD event which says a lot.

Down Jersey Ave and into LSP is your best bet. But you can also easily still run down to the waterfront!

Even though it's a 3 month membership you can just keep renewing indefinitely

I have also seen this scam more than once. They came to my door about 2 - 3 months ago - at night @ 8 pm or so! Claiming to be from the city! Pffft! Get the hell away from my door. No badge, no ID and so late a night....I could also hear them ringing other bells and spewing the same claptrap. Trash peddlers.

Yeah you can but it only last 3 months instead of 3 years apparently. You’ll need to go to branch with your id and a piece of mail.

If your landlord is your lover and there's a murder suicide does that count as our two murders for the year?

Great area, very bad for pedestrians....people drive like total lunatics. Lock your doors, don't walk home alone at 4 a.m. and you'll be just fine. Just FYI: the homes in that area sell for millions of dollars. It's not on the way up, it IS up.

The jersey city library system is very good, just FYI. They’ve had almost every book I look up.

You know what's really wild? On my return commute this evening, I passed a car with the exact make, model and color as this morning's. I took the plate number, just in case. Not planning on doing anything with it, just storing it.
Edit: These are good suggestions, thank you. I don't think it's worth the time spent to file a police report, I think it would be a lot of stress for zero outcome. But it's good to know what my resources are in the area.

Reply to comment by HobokenJ in Want to know why NY metro housing is expensive? Answer in NYTimes OP-ED by Blecher_onthe_Hudson
JC gets credit I guess for the many redevelopment zones that allows the density we see in places like DT, JSQ, and I believe along the commercial corridors like Central and Palisade. The R-1 is keeping infill low density, in many cases lower than the surrounding properties.

We're not behind in supply. There are more empty homes than there are unhoused people even. There are hundreds of thousands of units unrented in NYC alone. The argument that building more and with more density will reduce rents has literally not held up anywhere. I'm just going to respond to this by calling you a fucking idiot who isn't showing their work because that's literally all you're doing.
You don't have a fucking clue because your argument is not holding water. There are other solutions. BUILD MOAR is not the answer. You're a fucking idiot who isn't showing their work
