Definitely don't go to Jersey City Medical Center, unless you want to sit in a crowded waiting room for 5 hours and still not get treatment.

When I need the ER, I go to Manhattan. The Lenox Hill hospital in Greenwich Village is super quiet and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Can’t have landlords possibly “earning” a penny less! Let’s not pretend that every landlord isn’t seeking to milk tenants out of the highest possible rent amount. The main culprit is and always be a system that allows greedy people to hoard housing

Only if you believe the number the government is telling you, which is allegedly 6-7% last year. The real inflation rate is probably around 15% or higher. -80% of US dollars in circulation were printed from 2020 onwards. There is absolutely no way inflation is just 6%

OP, you suck. Only thing wrong with this development is that it isn’t double the density with two 17 story buildings instead of just one. To call this one “vertical sprawl” is just ignorance and NIMBYism.

This development is a massive improvement over what’s currently there… I bet it will be a great community asset when built.

The fools that have been fighting this development should be barred from using any of the community benefits when built. Of course that legally can’t happen, but they’re so fucking hypocritical because they’ll be singing it’s praises in a few years. There small business incubator sounds especially interesting to me.

I was considering going to that one but it is a little far but the closer hospitals I've been to has been kind of crazy unfortunately.

I'm looking for individuals personal suggestions for hospitals around so thanks for the comment, I might just go to that hospital if I dont get another answers otherwise.

I'd probably do Paulus Hook, Liberty Harbor or Downtown before the heights or Hamilton Park. For starters your closer to transit. The ferry, light rail and Path are all right there. Also there's more of a youthful scene especially around liberty harbor down where Grove Street ends. Paulus Hook is nice but quiet but the light rail and ferry make it convenient.

That being said $3200 for a 2br is a tough ask in Jersey City at least in any of the newer developments. I mean the studios in my building are starting at that. You'd probably more realistically be looking at the newer developments in Bayonne or possibly up in Weehawken or West New York or Guttenberg which might be better for a Hudson Yards commute anyway.

These buildings don’t want you to stay. It’s in any city you move to a fancy luxury building they want you there for two years max. It’s their model. My guess is if you stay for awhile you become protected. There are great homes in other areas of JC, might not be as fancy but w the extra money you save buying you can get a car and be to those areas in 10 min. And have more space. This is a great city w many great areas. Bet on yourself and buy something, make it your own and continue to make this a great city and screw these robbers.
