This is my understanding based, too, especially regarding high-rise buildings. It can drive the overall values of an area up, while simultaneously helping to keep surrounding rents low by adding more supply. So there’s some give and take.

As a reserved nerdy kid from like upstate suburbs its an honor you knew and partied with him, he sounded like he was a super fun guy and he was a big part of the energy of mtv's downtown that made hanging in the city with fun cool weird people seem like a really awesome way to live your life. I'm glad I have homeys in JC. It might sound weird but cartoons helped change my life and help me see that life is for having fun and shit, you know
