Reply to Would you put Choc O Pain, Maman, Antique Bakery, and 2nd Street Bakery in the same category? by BeMadTV
Choc O Pain is pretty solid and produces artisan goods of high quality. On the other hand, the chocolate croissant I got from 2nd Street Bakery was basically pizza dough (not laminated dough like an actual croissant) with some chocolate chips thrown in.

They stole funds from the NJCU? That's terrible. Could you post a link to an article about that?

Does someone have contact information for the pitbull lovers' group? Maybe someone there would have ideas about how to find a dog-friendly apartment.

What? The Heights is almost majority Hispanic. I mean it's not as Hispanic as Union City or West New York, or even as much as it was 15-20 years ago, but it's still the largest demographic in the Heights.

The BOE budget is already over capacity. Don’t have enough taxes to support a new school. Sorry. Parents should think about moving.

You do realize that most, if not all, the schools are at capacity or near it

For the amount of money JC spends on education, most of our graduates should be doctors, lawyers or engineers.

I've got his card at home, but I'm out of the country for the week. DM me, and I'll send it to you when I get home.

This charter school will be funded with Jersey City BOE funds…and will surely put the budget over $1B

We have way too many schools already. They should spend money on fixing current schools instead.

You can also try Newark rink in the Iron bound. The exact block it's on is ugly and looks sketchy but is safe actually. Last I recall it was $10 for non Newark Residents.
