If they are both ESA certified there should no issues at any complex. I brought it up when touring, and all I had to do was submit my ESA letter when signing the lease. I only have one dog(50lb pit mix) but I would think as long as the apartment allows for 2 dogs it would be ok as they cannot deny for size or breed.

They are stealing funds from NJCU I'm sure it's not an isolated incidence.

Triangle Park is up the block and it has been the scene of shootings this past year. Cops are stationed there though. That being said, that block is actually not bad. You are close to the lightrail and multiple bus stops. As for your commute, I go to LIC once a month and live in the Greenville area. It does suck but its not the end of the world. I have to be in the office by 7 am and leave around 4, so i am catching the beginning of rush hour. Driving in is easy but the afternoon sucks. I know a lot of people who work in Queens and live in JC and they do just fine with the commute (they use public transportation). Obviously living in queens would be easier but don't think commuting from JC is impossible. A lot of homes in queens are selling for over 600K so i can see why JC is an option.

I want to try Torta Truck so much but it’s like a Mayonnaise party and they don’t do customization😞 which is their right obviously but I am just one of those people who can’t stand even the concept of Mayo.
Rumbas cafe is amazing though and pio pio café you can get something ridiculous like 2 entire chickens and sides for like 20$! Yum.

Rumbas in the heights is very good. There is a very good selection of peruvian places to. But you cannot go wrong with any spot on Central to be honest.

Crime isn't new to the neighborhood. There have been other shootings but it's very sporadic.
glitterpumps t1_j6n25ny wrote
Yeah there was a big crowd at the corner of Grace and Summit alllllll last night into midnight, holding some kind of vigil for the man murdered on Sunday. The stragglers were hostile, screaming at each other and shit… we heard the gunshot pop off like 5 minutes after they finally left.

Reply to comment by VanWorst in Where can I take a train to have a nice walk by Browen20
Hoboken =/= Jersey City.
My entire point in my original comment summarized: back in the day JC residents could board trains IN JERSEY CITY and travel to neighboring towns west of the Hackensack River and even ride halfway across the country with no transfers. Now, people from Jersey City need to schlep to Hoboken or somewhere else to catch an actual train. This is inferior and less convenient.
Do you disagree???

Go to Rumba Cafe, Irma's Cafe, El Gordo, Unica Cafe, Angel Azul, and Dulce de Leche. Also, shout out to Freetown Road as a Caribbean option in JSQ.

According to NJ's Truth in Renting:

The Law Against Discrimination as set forth in N.J.S.A. 10:5-29.2, prohibits discrimination against handicapped, blind, or deaf people in renting or leasing housing accommodations. A handicapped, blind, or deaf person who has a service or guide dog, or who obtains a service or guide dog, shall have full and equal access to all housing accommodations and shall not be required to pay extra compensation. Any lease or rental agreement prohibiting pets shall not apply to a service or guide dog owned by a handicapped, blind, or deaf tenant. The tenant is responsible for any damages done to the premises by the service or guide dog.
