You’re in luck! I’ve got a lovely bunch of coconuts, there they are, all standing in a row, big ones, small ones, some as big as your head!

At this point we should have just combo'ed this with a subway, old school cut and cover. Probably take the same amount of time as this

Second on G&T. They did all the maintenance on my wife's BMW. No issues and felt that they were trustworthy.

Yeah you're right, after I commented I remembered the work seems to be moving along the entire street downtown. I think I only really started paying attention when the work approached Jersey Ave.
Earlier this AM saw Spiniello tearing up more of York Street I think towards Marin Blvd & putting up fresh No Parking signs in that area.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding their work but it definitely feels like relining pipes like they're doing takes way way longer vs just replacing entirely. And they dig up the street either way.

If you like beer, the only thing in danger is your wallet bc The Thirsty Quaker is down the street and they’ve got a bangin selection of craft beers. In all seriousness though, its a safe area, you’ll be more than fine.

Right, and I'm happy the law does its best to protect the most people. But we, as human beings, can understand context. I can't say for sure that I would have been able to avoid hitting him. I can say that I would not have left the scene.

No. The law is pretty clear. Someone else’s moving violation doesn’t indemnify you.
She still had an obligation to not impact the bike by operating the vehicle in a way she could stop in time. Which by the way is a question on the written exam or used to be 15 or so years ago.
So she’s in the wrong for hitting him. She’s also wrong for leaving the scene.

They have excavated the intersection of Marin and York a minimum of thrice. You might also want to have a go bag ready for when they inevitably puncture a gas line.

Mini of Ramsey here as well. Great buying process Ruby King. Easy as it gets. Straight forward no nonsense. Bought CPO during very early Covid

9 months? York has been under construction for 3 years (no joke). They’ve been moving up 1 block at a time with a timeframe of 6-9 months a block. So ridiculous. You’d think they’re installing the aqueduct from NYC to the Finger Lakes. Tax $ not hard at work.

If it is Spiniello be prepared for close to a year's worth of street work. Basically what York Street has been going through for the last ~9 months or so. I think Erie St & 2nd St has had the same thing going on.

I called parking authority, signs are supposed to be up 48 hours in advance. They directed me to PD which are the ones doing the towing. So if your car got towed hit them up and complain

New - the financing was at 0.9% for the last one, so the difference in interest rate between that and CPO was enough to make up a lot of the difference in price.

I drove down York Street the other day (surprised to find it was no longer blocked off entirely from Jersey Avenue) and I regretted my decision almost immediately. The condition of that road is not suitable for cars AT ALL. They might as well keep it closed. What a shit show of a project, and I can't believe residents there have had to put up with that.
