Not your fault, it's just the repetitiveness of these inquiries. If I had some GIS tech skills I'd make a map with links to all the threads inquiring about every specific neighborhood. I raised my kids a few blocks away from there, we all lived!
Check out the new resident faq if you haven't already.

Because “safe” is a completely subjective term that is often used as a dog whistle.

I haven’t been there in a couple months, but if they closed, that certainly sucks that I’m in the same boat looking for a new mechanic lol

I sometimes feel this way about Taqueria Downtown. Really depends on the day in terms of how things are seasoned. Sometimes it's spot on, and really great. Other days it seems like they missed the mark. Wish I knew who was in the kitchen what days so I could decide when to order and when to avoid. Totally inconsistent.

Google says that they are permanently closed on Tonelle. Did they move elsewhere?

The train is the only issue. Hamilton Park Train and it runs alll the time, all night, etc. Just beware of this monstrosity. Otherwise perfectly safe.

A couple of things to keep in mind, if you have a car, the decks at the complexes can be pricey, but having spot to park is nice. If you're going to do a brownstone, check out the noise level. Depending on the building you may hear every damn thing that happens upstairs or nextdoor.
I lived at Grove Point for a bit a while back, and it was great. If it made any financial sense at all I'd rather sell my row house move back into one of those buildings.
Best of luck.

If talking about Enos Jones park. It’s very safe. Living right on the park you will hear slow moving freight train that squeals for about ten mins long. Quite annoying. Other than that. The area and park itself are very safe
moobycow t1_j5m453g wrote
You'll get snark for asking, but it's fine. There are ton of families in the area.
The downside being the trains can be loud at times and you're a long walk to the PATH if you need it.

There are several landmines unaccounted for in the area, and it's known to be alligator habitat. Furthermore, the area can get occasional hurricanes.
