They fenced and reseeded not that long ago. It's just way over capacity. To keep it alive they probably need to just rotate closed sections forever.

It stands out when you see how well maintained the dog park, tennis courts, basketball court and playground are that the landscaping is let go so far. Reseeding and a fence up for a few months in designated areas works in most parks.

NYC has had success with that. Washington Square Park and Carl Schurz Park uptown comes to mind.

We would have missed a flight last year without it. The airport was super busy and we were able to skip a massive line.

It's more like "so heavily trafficked it's all dead." Would need to rope off and replant to come back from that.

Yep, worth it, especially if you also have TSA Pre-check. Just choose the shortest line when approaching security.

I love CLEAR. I've never waited more than 5ish minutes to get through security when using it at local airports (most recently at EWR in October).

It’s worth it especially if the airport is busy. If it’s not you don’t save that much time. But even just bypassing that huge line once is worth it in my opinion.

Newport is boring, but if you love easy access to transit, we’re within steps of Path, Light Rail, and a short walk to NJT at Hoboken. We used to have a ferry, there was talk of bringing it back but ::shrug::
